TALICEE'S JOURNEY

Sick Days:

Well, I guess it was time to get the flu. We had done so well all winter. Now, we are slowly getting the flu. Yeah team. We had 2 workers out last week with the flu. So I guess they thought if they had it, we needed it too. This is not fun.

While I set here being sick, I have time to update my blog. Heaven knows with all 3 boys playing baseball, I don't have time to do it. As you can see, I have updated a couple of sites. All of the websites are either new referrals or possible travelmates. I just love reading blogs about the adoption. Everyone has a different story. Hopefully, we will be telling you more about the journey to get Talicee soon.

Our agency, CCAI, nexts referral date is June 9th. That would be us. (do your hear me yelling) We missed the last batch by 3 days. All of my board friends are saying that we will be next. I will believe it when I see Talicee's face. Of course, there are other agencies out there that have LID for June 7th and 8th. I am praying that we are in the next batch.

Referrals come out at the end of the month. So we only have 28 more days to wait. I am hoping that they come before the end of the month. Who knows. The CCAA is on a holiday break for a week now. They should be back to work next Monday. I hope when they do come back to work, that they work really hard to get the babies home and more referrals this month. This 3-5 day thing has got to go. I do more work than that in 1 day and I am very slow. LOL Those of you who know me, know that I am not slow. I think I am too organized. LOL Well, anyway, I hope things speed up especially for my waiting friends.

Please make sure you read the previous post about sign ups. I would not want anyone to miss our great day when we finally can say that we have a daughter and can prove it. I know that if I don't have a list of e-mails, then I will forget someone. I would not want to do that. This way, I will have a list and just hit a button and then off goes the announcement.

Keep praying that we will get the referral this month. Pray for Talicee's birth parents and for the Landes family. We have a lot of planning to do in the next 3 months. God is so good. His timing will be perfect.
