SICK, ICE AND ALWAYS SOMETHING HAPPENING IN THE LANDES HOUSEHOLD

Randy, Talicee and myself have been sick for the last 2 weeks. Talicee could not go in the nursery for 2 Sunday's because of this junk. Hopefully, we are on the mend. I have no voice right now. I don't think the boys mind too much.
Again we missed a day of school this week. Wednesday, which was Valentine's Day, was our day off because of ice. I do have to say the mountains were very pretty with the ice. Now we are going to school until June 12th. I think the ground hog may have been wrong with Spring coming. Many things have happened here at our household. Here are some pictures of our week. We are so proud of Tyler for passing his driving exam the first time. He went on Wednesday, since they were out of school, and got his lerner's permit. Now we have another driver in the family. This may be a good or a bad thing. I am still trying to get over that my baby is now driving.

Miss Talicee has graduated from the infant car seat to the big car seat. Since she is just 20 lbs, we decided to keep her in the seat a little longer. She was so small in the big car seat. The straps are on the lowest level there is. Take a look at the fabric. Miss Talicee picked this fabric out herelf. One of my friends here locally found me a great seamstress. She did an outstanding job.

Mr. Taylor had to make a visit to the Dr.'s this week also. He has a uninary tract infection. Yes, this will be sending us to a specialist. Please pray that this is just a freaky thing and nothing is wrong. Boys usually do not get this kind of infection. He is feeling better now with the help of meds.

Mr. Trevor will have a black eye this week. Randy was cooking breakfast this morning, since I have been in bed for 2 days now with the junk. He left the microwave door open and Trevor was in a hurry and ran straight into it. I know people think bad things about us, because he always has some kind of injure. Oh well, at least we know he is tough.

We are getting ready for Miss Talicee's first Chinese New Year. We are all going to be wearing our Chinese outfit for this party. I am really looking forward to learning more about her culture. Hopefully, I will be able to get some pictures to share on the blog.
