Wow, what a busy week. Randy, Tyler and Taylor were out of town hunting at his parents until Tuesday. Tyler got an eight pointer and Taylor got a button buck. Randy got nothing. They had left on Friday night. So Trevor, Talicee and I went to my mom's on Saturday and Sunday. Upon arrival we found out that my sister was sick. (what's new sis) LOL. Then Saturday night I got sick, Talicee was sick on Monday. So it was not a good weekend. Should have stayed home. Randy and the boys came home on Tuesday. The kids were out of school on Wednesday, so what did they do. You guessed it, hunted. When I say hunted, I mean hunted. They left at 5:00 in the morning and did not come home until 8:00 that night. It gets dark at 5:00, so go figure on that one. They did not kill anything. Trevor help me clean house and get ready for Thanksgiving dinner.
Thursday, Randy's parents and Stanley and Tinker Belle (this is what Talicee calls her) came for dinner. Randy's mom made a beautiful table arrangement. We had a good time just relaxing and enjoying the company. We then headed for my parents. Once again upon arrival at my sister's, Morgan was sick this time. For the past 2 years, we have not been to her house without someone being sick. Friday was the big day for hunting and surprises. Taylor got a doe and Randy got 2. I am not going to tell you about the kind he got. I was a little disappointed in that kill. After hunting, my parents brought Tyler over to my sister's house. We were all outside looking at the deer. We had a surprise for Tyler. We have had it since July. Melissa went up the road and met Tyler when he turned into her driveway. She pulled in with his new car. He was not sure what she was doing. It had LB decals on it and the license plate says 4 DA T's. It took him a minute to get himself together. He was not sure it was his. It is actully all of the kids, hence the license plate.
Mom, Melissa and I went shopping later that afternoon. We were glad the stores where open until 11:00. We sure took advantage of that. We had a great time just being together. Didn't buy much, but had a great time.
Madison, Dad and Stanley all have birthday's in November. So we celebrated birthdays at every dinner. Needless to say, my First Place class was not first place. I will get back on track this week.
I rode home with Tyler and his new car tonight. I did not want him on the interstate yet. We had a good talk along the way. I am so proud of him. He has grown into a very respectful, God loving man.
Hope you enjoy the slide show. I tried to put pictures of the many activities we had this week.
