CHINESE NEW YEAR 2008

We had our Families with Chinese Children Chinese New Year luncheon today. We had about 80 people show up. Lots and Lots of little ones and big ones to love on. We even got to meet our newest member Julian. What a cutie. She has only been home for 1 week. She was a fire cracker today.

All of the children had a good time playing together. The Chinese rest. didn't seem to mind all of us running around. We meet a new couple today. They are in the paperchase right now. Their day will come soon just like everyone elses. Doug and Susan where there. They are the next ones to get a referral for a NSN baby. This will be their first. They are very excited. We are excited for them too.

Not much has happened around here this week. Baseball season is getting ready to start, so I know our unbusyness will end soon. Is unbusyness a word, oh well, sounds good. I do have to tell you about Miss Talicee this week. Randy was taking a shower and his phone was on the counter in the bathroom. My phone was on the night stand in the bedroom. All of a sudden Randy's phone rang. I answered it and about the time I answered it, Miss Talicee showed up at the door with my phone and was talking to me on Randy's phone. This girl is too smart for her britches. I guess she just hit the send button twice and called him. Who knows. Still just too cute.

Miss Talicee has been making a fashion statement this week. I will post those pictures later next week. I hope that her fashion style changes before teenage years or I am in trouble.

We have a busy week lined up. Mr. Taylor is turning 14 on Monday. We are out of school that day, so he has big plans. I will post pictures of him and his big day later this week also. I can't believe that we are already into February. Were is the time going.

Hope you enjoy the pictures of the Chinese New Year.

How fun. We went to a celebration as well. Probably over 1,000 there. I was wishing it had been a little smaller. Glad you had a great time./
