Sad little girl that got into trouble

This is what happens to little girls that don't listen

Not much has happened this week. Randy has been home most of the week. He has one more slow week and then he gears up for spring. We may not see him until June. Spring is one of the busiest times of the year for him.
Monday he was home working on some business. It has been nice, but I am ready for him to be gone during the day. Miss Talicee is getting to used to this. I am the food chairman for the After Prom Party, so Monday we had a meeting. I have been calling for donations. I contacted one possible vendor. Now this vendor is very close to the high school. When I called for a donation, the manager was so rude. He basically told me that he was not going to support the high school. This really upset me since this vendor does employ the high school kids. This is just not right. But in time, this vendor will see what a mistake he is making.
Tuesday, I was working on some business and Miss Talicee was suppose to be watching Dora. Well, come to find out she was in the bathroom putting toilet paper in the toilet. See, none of the boys every did things like this. I never had to have cabinet locks, door locks or any of the safety things. Well, off I went to get these safety items. We now have gates in every room, door knob things and cabinet locks. Needless to say, Miss Talicee is not happy about this. She is only allowed to go to certain places now. Boy, there sure is a difference in a girl and boys.
Wednesday was a relaxing day. Randy actually worked in his building on somethings he needed to do. He was still at home, but not in the house. The best part of the day was that Miss Talicee took a 3 1/2 hour nap. I did go and check a few times after 2 hours. See, it will be a year on the 26th that she had her seizure. I just didn't want that to happen again. She was in a great mood the rest of the day.
Thursday I got a day to myself. Randy agreed to watch Miss Talicee while I went shopping. I really enjoyed my day. I left at 8:00 and did not get back until 5:15. I shopped, had lunch and then shopped some more. I shopped for MYSELF. This is something that I have not done in a long time. A much needed day for me.
Friday, was suppose to be a no school day. They were calling for ice and snow. Well, guess what. We got NOTHING. So now the kids get a day off on Monday. Randy had tires put on his work truck and I made more donation calls today. Tonight, we took Miss Talicee to get her picture taken. She did so well. Like I have said before, she is a camera ham. The lady had a tea set that Miss Talicee just fell in love with. The pictures are going to be great. Then she took her picture with a little piano. I can't wait to get them back. Randy asked me tonight when all of this girly stuff was going to be over. I told him, I have my girl and they will continue forever. The boys could care less about having their picture taken. After pictures, we took Miss Talicee to get ice cream since she was so good.
Tomorrow will be a busy day. Randy is helping set up for the Christian concert that will be at our church. Trevor is going to lunch for having perfect attendance during Awana's. Tyler and Taylor will be going to the concert with Randy and Trevor. Miss Talicee and I are going to have a girl's night. We plan on painting our nails, doing our hair and eating chocolate. I will take pictures of our night. Finally, I have a girl to do things with. I am lovin it to.

So as you can see, nothing exciting happened this week. Just the normal life at the Landes house. Things will be a changing. Baseball try outs begin Monday. Trevor will be starting his practices soon too. So I will take all the relaxation I can get right now.

I can't believe that none of your boys ever did anything like that!!! My boys were notorious for flushing underware, Hot Wheels, and toothbrushes!!! I guess they just can't figure out where stuff goes when they flush it!
My boys all have locks on their doors because nosey little sister was disturbing their stuff!!!
I will say girls are different than boys but I am so glad to finally walk on the other side!!
That's funny about the locks. You have been very lucky. All my kids did things like that. I had one son who flushed tooth brushes down the toilet....a plumber has to be called for that, shoes, cell phones etc. Maylin is the only kid that hasn't done the toilet thing. She does do the cabnits tho'. Good luck with the After Prom. I am sure you will do a great job.
I love the pics of Talicee in her black and pink dress!! Sounds like a nice week!!
Love,

Talicee is so pretty in her dress. Even pretty with the pouty face. We can relate to the toilet paper event! Good luck with the childproofing! Em continually finds new things we haven't thought about before! One year without a seizure. That is wonderful!! Nice to have a day to yourself every once in awhile too.
I guess I have something to look forward to when we get our baby girl! hahahahahahaha I'll try to learn from you and put the gates on the doors! What is with kids and toilets??????
I LOVE the pics of Talicee in the pink/black dress! Where did you find such a BEAUTIFUL dress??????? She is an absolute doll!
