happy st pattys day

Well, the weeks still keep getting busier and busier. This week was no exception.

Tuesday, Randy, Tyler and myself attended a funeral of a former coach of Tyler's. She had died unexpectantly. It was a very hard day for all of us. We learned that she loved the Lord.

Wednesday, Tyler had his first baseball game of the season. They won, but still need some work. He is the base stealer and the runner for someone who needs it. The team is mostly seniors, so he doesn't get to play a lot. Maybe next year. Trevor's practices start today. So this adds to the maddness of being busy. Thank heavens for a church friend, whose son is on his team, for taking Trevor to practice for us.

Saturday, we attended Tyler and Taylor's football fundraiser. They did a pancake breakfast at Applebee's. According to Tyler, they did really well. Maybe we will not have to do any more fundraisers for football. LOL We are doing fundraisers for baseball and the missions trip. If you are interested in helping them, please let me know. After breakfast, we ran some errands and Trevor and Miss Talicee did a craft at Michael's for the Family Day activity. I do have pictures of Miss Talicee and Trevor making their snakes, but they are on my phone and I forgot to download them.

Sunday, Trevor and I went to an Easter egg hunt at his teacher's church. They did a skit about the resurrection. They did an great job. We then did a egg hunt. You could only get 25 eggs. After finding the eggs, we had an ice cream social. Trevor and I had a great time just being together. Miss Talicee has a very hard time sharing her mommy with her brothers. So she stayed with daddy and finished her nap. I thought this was a good thing. I picked Miss Talicee up at church because Randy had a meeting. When I picked her up, her hands were RED. Well, guess what she did. We have magic markers that we keep hidden because she tends to write on EVERYTHING. Well, daddy was not watching her and she found them. Yes, she was red. She happen to find the only one in the bunch that is not washable. Oh well, it will eventually come off. While I was getting pizza for our Awana leaders, Trevor was telling Miss Talicee about his day. Miss Talicee's comment to him was "Oh may, Trevor we do not need 25 Easter eggs." She comes up with the funniest things. Too big for her britches literally.

We have a very busy week. Tyler has 3 ballgames this week. Yes, I said 3 games, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Good thing spring break starts on Friday. We will need a break after this week.

I should have more pictures this week, we all know that is why you visit this blog anyway. LOL I get to dress up my family for Easter Sunday. I love this and having a girl to dress up. Enjoy the pictures.

On a sad note: Today, Tyler will be attending a funeral for a class mate that was killed by a car last week. Tyler played football with him and had classes with him this year. Very sad day for a 16 year old.
