MY SWEET WEEKEND WITH MY BOYS

I had a wonderful weekend with my boys. Friday night was the first night in a long time that everyone was home for dinner. Then the older 2 headed off to church for an activity.

On Saturday, Trevor had his first baseball game. Boy was the day hot. His team won. We sure did sweat a lot. Taylor went and watched Trevor's game while Tyler went to work for a while. After working around the house, Tyler, Taylor and I headed out. Trevor had a church activity so he was with his second family. I dropped Taylor off for football practice. He loves this game. He never played until he got into high school and he walks and talks football all of the time. He is a perfectionist, so sometimes he is too hard on himself.

Tyler and I had a quick dinner and them went to rent his tux for both proms. Since is girlfriend goes to another school, we have to rent it twice. We then went and had dessert together while we waited on Taylor. It was just nice to be with all 3 of the boys even though it was not long. They are growing up so fast.

I have been working on Tyler's graduation party. You will be so proud of me, without tears so far. Now when the party items come in, it may be a different story. I ordered the cutest invites last night. They fit him just perfect. He is counting down the days. One six weeks left until his life really begins. We are beginning to get things together for college, yes I have had a few tears.

I know that this blog is really about Miss Talicee and her life with us, but it may turn out to be about Tyler in the next 2 months. We have a lot going on with his graduation.

As for Miss Talicee, well she is just herself. She spent the evening with her daddy on Saturday. She was in bed by the time I got home with the boys. I guess she wore her daddy out. He took her to McDonald's and then to Wally world. They did enjoy their evening. She did dress herself, as you can see in the slideshow. Oh well, I will pick my battles. It is hard to believe that it is almost 3 years ago that we first saw the most beautiful little girl in the world. May is a special month for us.

Well, off to work on the party some more. The kids are going to have so much fun. Now I need you to pray that it is hot and sunny that day. Can't enjoy the lake if it is rainy.
