PUMPKIN PATCH AND CORN MAZE

Miss Talicee and I went to the pumpkin patch and corn maze today. We got there early and really had a great time. The weather was perfect. Just needed a sweater because of the light breeze. We started out with the petting zoo. The animals were not much in the mood to be petted. Guess it was too early. Then we headed to the corn maze. We boarded the hayride. She was so excited to see the corn maze. Last year she was not to much into to. I think it scared her. We got off the wagon and off she went. Come on Mom, we can do this. Off we went into the maze. We did twist and turns. At one point, I made the comment that we might have to spend the night if we can't find our way out. She did not like this. Her comment was "We will get out of here, just follow me Mom." After the maze and the huge jump that she made when she saw the end, we went to pick out a pumpkin. We wondered and wondered. Miss Talicee was so into finding the great pumpkin, that she tripped over one of the vines. Yes, it brought tears. Not because she fell, but because she had gotten her Halloween sweater dirty. Drama, Drama. We found the perfect pumpkins and went back the farm. Finished taking some pictures and headed out.

I had to buy Talicee some new shoes today because the ones that she has are too small and the ones in the attic are too big. Go figure. Found some new shoes and headed home to get ready for yet another ballgame. This is our life.

Now time to relax and start all over tomorrow. Enjoy the pumpkin patch. Kindergarten is going to another pumpkin patch in November.

PS: Notice the candy corn wreath that Talicee and I made Thursday night.
