On Saturday, we took Taylor out for his birthday. We went to Frankie Rowland's. Lets just day, we could only take one child at a time. Taylor looked so nice. I had laid out a dress shirt and pants for him. He came down stairs in a suit and tie. Made me very proud. Once Tyler got here to babysit, we headed out. Our reservations were for 6:00.

This is a 5 star restaurant so we had to teach Taylor a little about fine dining. He ordered the lamb chops and a baked potatoe. He really enjoyed it. They brought him a free dessert. He had creme bruilee. Not one of his favorite, but he liked it.

After dinner we picked up his girlfriend and headed home for ice cream cake. This is one of my boys favorite desserts. We sang Happy Birthday and opened cards. Lets say turning 18 has it advantages in the money department.

I think Taylor had a great birthday. Even though he is 18, in our book it is just a number. When he can pay for things and not have my name on them, then he will be old enough to be on his own. I am thinking 23 o 24.

Happy 18th Birthday Taylor.
