TALICEE'S JOURNEY

We are so thankful!!!!

This time last year our dossier had been logged in at the CCAA for 5 months. We were expecting a referral in January or February. Well God had other plans. These months came and went along with 2 more months. Then May came. What a great Mother's Day present. We had prayed for this day for a long time. On May 26, 2006 we met our new daughter.

This will be Talicee's first American Thanksgiving. We will be thanking God for her and all that he has done for us this year.

We have been in the USA for 4 months now with our darling little girl. What a blessing she has been. Many changes in her have occurred over the few months we have had her. She has learned to crawl, has 2 teeth, blows kisses, hugs, says about 6 words and just last week began to pull up on the furniture. I actually went in the other morning to get her up and she was standing up in the bed holding on to the side.

Miss Talicee is gearing up for a very busy holiday. We are visiting with family and then the Christmas season will start. We are so busy with the boys and all of the things that surround Christmas.

During this holiday season, our family will be making a donation to the orphanage that Talicee came from. They are in need of a dryer and our TuanFeng yahoo group is heading this up. We are so thankful for Ms. Li. She, her staff and Talicee's foster family did a great job of caring for her. We want to do everything we can to make sure that all of the children are this well taken care off. Making this donation makes us feel we have some connection to her life before.

We are so thankful for the blessings that God has bestowed upon us. He always knows best.
