WELCOME TO AMERICA PARTY
What a great weekend. We were invited to a Welcome to America party for our newest citizen on Saturday. Her name is Miss Emma. She is such a sweetie. I could just love on her all day. As you can tell in the slide show the kids had a great time. I love the slide with all of the China children at the party. It just puts a smile on my face. Bobby and Regina are our great friends and we are so thankful to be a part of this celebration. We just love Miss Emma.
Trevor, Talicee and myself did not get to stay long at the party. Since it rained like cats and dogs on Friday, Tyler's football game got moved to 7:30 on Saturday night. The game was about an hour away. So we ate dinner and talked for a little while and left. I wished we could have stayed longer. But when you have 4 kids, time is very important.
Nothing much happened this week. I think everyone but Miss Talicee had a Dr.'s appointment of some kind this week. I think we went to the dentist 4 times this week also. Sure hope we are through for a while. I don't think my checkbook can handle any more. I have been getting questions about my ankle. Yes, it is broken. I was in a little bit more pain than before when I first got my beautiful walking cast on. But now I am doing better. I will know more of what is going on when I go back next month. This is just so annoying that I can't imagine being in it any longer than I have to be.
We have another full week ahead. It is homecoming week at the high school. Yes, Tyler has a date. We went shopping last weekend for his clothes. Yes, we will be taking him and his date. Tyler has not gotten his license yet, but his date has hers. But WE WILL BE TAKING THEM AND PICKING THEM UP FROM SCHOOL. I am just that kind of parent. We have a ballgame on Friday. A bunch of our friends and family are coming. Can you say TAILGATE time. I am looking forward to this. And I do have to say it is my birthday this weekend also. The girl Tyler is taking to the dance, birthday is on Friday. Then Talicee and Randy's is 2 weeks after that. Boy do I have a busy week and weeks coming up.
I hope you enjoy the slide show. It was a great party. Welcome to America Miss Emma.

I love the newspaper theme - I hadn't seen that one! I am adding pics to ours this afternoon too.
We really appreciate you being there yesterday! It is a blessing to count you among our friends!
Love,
Regina
I was so glad to see a post. I hope your foot/ankle is doing better. I was just saying the same thing that my pocketbook can't take one more thing. Ours has been the eye doctor. Three kids in glasses or contacts now. Hope you all enjoy Homecoming. What a fun time.
