OUR WEEKEND WITH OUR CHINESE FAMILIES
We had a very busy weekend. We visited the Layman's Corn Maze. Trevor and Miss Talicee had a great time. Just not enough time to do everything. After that everyone came to our house for a get together. We were going to do a bond fire, but we are under a burn ban and could not do it. We made smores anyway ( but not by bond fire). Everything was great. The fellowship was the best part. All of the children had a great time. When they cry because they do not want to leave, this says they had a good time.
After everyone left, Randy and I cleaned up. We sent Trevor and Miss Talicee to get a bath. They both got bathed and did their own thing. After a while we got to missing Miss Talicee. We called for her but no answer. We went up stairs and found her in the nail polish. She has painted her finger nails and toe nails. She has been wanting them painted all week. I guess she got tired of waiting on me to do it and did it herself. Luckly, there was just a little bit on the carpet. She was so excited to show us her nails. Needless to say, the nail polish is put way up now.
Things are quiet here this week. Randy is out of town again. I do have 3 sick ones now. Tyler and Trevor both have the headaches and high temps. Tyler must be sick if he calls me to come and get him from school. He never misses and NEVER misses football practice. This is when I need family around to help me out. Oh well, we chose to live in never never land.
Our weekends are beginning to slow down now. Thank goodness. I need a break. Now if it will not be so hot in the day, I can enjoy the fall. Hope you enjoy the slide show. It was hard to get good pictures at this time of the day.

Oh my what mischief our daughters get into!!! I had to laugh at Talicee getting into the nail polish. Lilly got the nail polish off my sink and had it opened and spilled it on her Halloween dress that I made her. I just thought that she couldn't reach it...boy was I wrong, she got a step stool! When our divas want something they gotta have it! lol
Oh how I would lllooovvve to get our girls together. They sound like they would hit it off so well.
Cheers to your girly girl! Love the pictures you always post a lot and I love that!!!

I am glad you are enjoying the fall season! Maybe Miss T. has a future in the beauty business. Hope you all feel better soon and the ones who aren't sick stay that way.

I just saw your comment on Myah's Days, and had to stop by and say hello. Our daughter, Sarah, is also from Hubei (Myah and Sarah are from the same orphanage and we traveled to China together). I was also excited to see that you are the mom of 3 boys (just like me)!

Your daughter, Talicee, is beautiful! I'm looking forward to reading more of your older posts on your blog and checking back for current updates. I'm also anxious to see what Danielle comes up with for your blog design. She designed mine, and I think she does a fantastic job!

Talicee is too cute. Glad to hear she is also tiny! I was very afraid Emily was going to stay 20 pounds forever! Talicee with the nail polish is a great story! I love her pictures.
