What a difference a year makes

As I was getting the Christmas stuff out today to decorate, I was remembering this time last year. Miss Talicee has only been with us for 4 months. She was not walking or crawling, she had no teeth, and she was not talking at all. She was much of an infant. She could only sit up. As I decorated last year, I had to keep the doors closed and make sure that nothing was in the floor for her to put in her mouth. She did not really know what was going on. My how time flys.
Today is a totally different story. As I got each thing out, Miss Talicee was just amazed at each item. She is still a little scared of things, but she will out grow that. She is now walking (running), has a mouth full of teeth and carries on a conversation with you. She is very smart. She is working puzzles. The boys never had any interest in puzzles.
As the month goes on and our days become busier, I am anxious to see how she reacts to all of the activities. Last year it was nothing. This year will be so much fun. She understands everything and likes to be in the middle of it. Who could have know that after 16 months with her, that she is the light of our life. The boys are so much in love with her. It is like she has been here since she was born. I thank God everyday for the wonderful gifts that he has given me. Only God could have chosen a perfect child for us.
I do have to say, it is nice having a girl to dress up especially during the Holidays. It is going to be so much fun this year.

PS. Remember a few months ago when my dishwasher caught on fire. Well, at 8:30 last night, I had to make a trip to Lowes to buy a new washer and dryer. Their goes the new TV money. Now we just sit and watch the washer wash clothes. (lol) I am hoping that nothing else goes wrong.

Wow! She has grown up so much its amazing. She is still beautiful. She looks like a little girl now.
Hey! Talicee is just beautiful. I'm sure she is going to be super fun this Christmas!
I saw your dishwasher caught fire, and I wanted to tell you that GE had a recall on certain types of dishwashers that were catching on fire. There is a rebate for a new dishwasher. I'm not sure if you had a GE but I thought I would mention it. The rebate is for about 300 dollars, so it is worth checking into it on the website.
Take Care and Merry Christmas! Casey (Mom to Emeili)
Wow Talicee has grown and wow is she cute! Thank you for the sleep advice. Emily falls to sleep with lullaby music but I never thought to keep it playing all night:) They are gifts from God.
I can't get over how big she is getting!
