First snow of the year and decorating for the Holidays
This week has been a busy one. Just getting out the decorations for the Holidays is a job in itself. It takes about 3 days to really get everything out and put the storage tubs back. Miss Talicee has been a good helper. LOL Last year she was not even crawling so decorating was not such a job. This year, she is into everything. Every tub I would open, she would be so excited to see what was in it. This is so much fun.
Miss Talicee still has a few nights that she does not sleep all night long. Boy, I wished this would end soon. So in one of the slide, she is asleep in her Dora chair. I noticed that it had gotten really quiet. I went into the den and she was like this. We have our Families with Chinese Children Christmas party this weekend. So I was baking brownies for the event and Miss Talicee wanted to taste them. She is just too cute with the batter all over her face. We had our first snow of the year this week. It was not much, but it sure was pretty. Makes you thank God for all of his creations. Due to all of the classes and activities I had this week, I did not have time to put up the tree. Since Frosty was coming on tonight, I thought it would be a good time to put it up. We have to have a fake tree because Taylor is allergic to a real one. Learned this the hard way. Taylor and Miss Talicee were checking the lights to see if they would work this year. Tyler actually put the tree up before he went on a date. I am just not used to having one of my children not here and somewhere else when we do family things together. I guess I better get used to it. Miss Talicee, Trevor and Taylor decorated the tree this year. This was her first time. She was so excited. She wanted to put more ornaments than the tree could take. They really enjoyed doing this. Of course my children are camera hogs. They just want pictures of everything. Tomorrow we have a FCC Christmas get together. Miss Talicee loves seeing her friends. Then Randy and I are going out with some of our friends for the holiday. I still have a few little things to get for Christmas. So tomorrow I will be out early doing the last minute things. Sunday we have Tyler's football banquet. He is very excited about this. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. Next week brings more activities. Trevor will be having surgery on Thursday. He is going for his second set of tubes. He is slowly loosing his hearing. This surgery is nothing major, but it is my baby boy. I am going to try and take Miss Talicee to see Santa. I know this will not happen, but I can try. Will keep everyone up to date on Mr. Trevor. Grandmaw and PawPaw are going to watch Miss Talicee while we are gone. She is already talking about this. She is so excited. Of course, they will let her do whatever she wants. (mom you know you will). I will post pics of our party tomorrow. I am excited to see all of the kids again. Just saw them in October, but you know how kids grow. Enjoy the slide show. If anyone knows why mine keeps showing on my computer that my slide show is empty, please let me know what to do. It shows up on the desk top, but not laptop. Remember I have dial up.
