CHRISTMAS AT GRANDDADDY AND KEMMIE'S
Our Christmas finally came to an end this week. After relaxing on Christmas day and the day after, we loaded up and headed out again. I took Taylor shopping because his boots were too big. He needed to exchange them. Glad I went shopping. The night before was accident after accident. Tyler broke the tie-on on his basket. Randy went to put ice in the glasses for dinner and broke one of those. Then on his way up the steps, he broke the picture frame that holds our newest family picture. So, needless to say, I needed to go shoppping. We headed out as a family. We did a late lunch and shopped most of the day. It was a great day. It was so peaceful going shopping. All 3 boys got personal dvd players for Christmas. So they were watching those and Miss Talicee was watching her new Einstien movie on the dvd in the van. No one was making a sound. Should have thought about this long ago. We got up early and packed the car for one final Christmas at the Landes'. Randy wanted to see his sister and her children before they left his parents. It was nice to see Dona, Matt, Sammy, Jackie, Sophie and Gabe. We exchanged gifts and had a nice lunch together before they left. Then the kids wanted to see what Kemmie and Granddaddy got them. They had a ball just watching Miss Talicee open her stocking. Finally after about 15 mintues, they said heck with that and started opening their presents. All of them were so excited at what they got. Of course, they did not need anything. We then headed out for a late dinner. It was raining and very cold. Saturday, the boys took their new toys and played all morning. Miss Talicee and I played with her new food and cooking items. After the boys got back, Carole and I headed out shopping. They have a shop where they live that I just love. This was our first stop. It is a shop that has very nice clothes. Yes, I did get few things. Then off to the mall we went. It was nice to just relax and shop. Carole made a nice dinner for us that evening. Everyone enjoyed a movie afterwards except me. I got a miagrain and had to go to bed. Sunday we went to church and had lunch. The boys went to a movie. They saw Alvin and the Chipmunks. This is all they are talking about. We headed home late Sunday evening. Everyone had a great time. Since we don't live close to them, we try to take in all we can when we are there. Boy, everyone was sound asleep in about 15 minutes after arriving home. Now we are getting ready for a New Year's Eve party here at our house. I will post pictures of that tomorrow. I can't believe that 2007 is over with. It was been a great year having a little girl to celebrate it with.
