WE ARE STILL HERE....................

It has been a while since we have posted. We have been so busy. I have been out of town for a week. Then once I got home I have been sick. I hope that I am on the mend now. Everyone is fine. Randy watched the kids while I was at a business meeting. Now he realizes why I want to go to bed at 9:00 at night. He even called me twice while I was gone to come home. I just laughed. I did all of the caring while he was out of town for 4 months, now it was his turn for a FEW days. I even called home one day at 8:30 p.m. and he was sound asleep. Poor man, life is not as easy as he thought he was.

I had a great meeting (vacation) lol. I learned a lot about my business. It is always nice to be refreshed on your business. Randy has a business meeting at the end of the month. He will get refreshed in his business and I will watch the kids.

Tyler became an offical driver on January 8th. We went to court with many other classmates and heard the Judge. He was so proud of his new license. Sure is different than when I got my license many years ago.
We got our first snow of 2008 on Thursday. It was so pretty. We got about 4 1/2 inches. Since the kids were already out of school, they don't have to make up these 2 days of snow. As soon as Trevor woke up, he headed outside. He played all day in the snow. Taylor and Miss Talicee also played in it. After an afternoon nap, Miss Talicee, Taylor, Trevor and Randy went out and played for a while. Needless to say, Miss Talicee was ready for bed at 7:00. She slept through the night. Ever since I had been gone, she has not been sleeping through the night. Randy would put her in the bed with him. Big Mistake. Well, moma is home now and no more of that. She has Daddy wrapped around her little finger. LOL
Today, me and the boys went to the movies. We asked Miss Talicee if she wanted to go to the movies or go shopping. Of course she said shopping. So they shopped, or should I say, she slept and Randy shopped. The boys and I saw National Treasure #2. It was a very good movie. The boys just love this series and it looks like there might be another one to go with the first 2. After that we had dinner and then came home. It was a nice day to spend just with the boys. We don't go to the movies very often, so this was a great treat.
After we got home, Trevor and I watch a movie that he bought with his Christmas money. It was so funny. What a great time he and I had together.
We still have a busy weekend ahead of us. We are suppose to get more snow on Saturday night. The kids are loving this. Notice the old tv set in the slide show. Well, don't laugh but we have one like this. Since all of our major appliances had been replaced, the budget does not allow for a new tv. I am now working on the new tv through my business. If I get the points I need, I can get us a new tv. Until then, we will have to live with the old timey one. Enjoy the slide show.
