What a great week we have had this week. It was busy, but fun.
Monday, Tyler had another baseball game. We are on a winning streak. Hope this statement does not jinks us. Even though Tyler does not get to play that much, he is doing good. I had a meeting for the After Prom. Things are falling into place. Next month is our last meeting. Prom is May 3rd. I think the kids will love the party.
Tuesday, Tyler had another baseball game. This time I did not get to go. Trevor had a play at school. It was about Dr. Sues. He was the character that says I HATE GREEN EGGS AND HAM. I do not like Dr. Sues, so I do not know who the characters are. Sorry. Trevor and I them went and had ice cream. It was a great date with my little man. Tyler's team won again. Go Cavs. Taylor watched Miss Talicee for me so that I could film Trevor's play. He is such a sweetheart. They had a good time. When I came home all I heard was giggles.
Wednesday, we a little slower. It rained, so Tyler got to go to church on time. They boys had puppet practice. They were practicing for the Easter egg hunt and Children's church. Taylor was not feeling well, so he stayed home. He needed to go to practice, so I let him. Our general rule is that if you miss school, then you can not do extra activities. But this one was too important.
Thursday, was the first day of Spring (big laugh). We had another ballgame. It was like setting out at a football game and freezing. Taylor and Miss Talicee sat in the car. Taylor was still a little sick. It was so cold here for the first day of spring. Tyler's team won again.
Friday, Spring Break started today. All of the kids slept in even Miss Talicee. It was nice to sleep. Miss Talicee and Trevor colored chicken eggs. This is what Miss Talicee calls eggs. Tyler and Taylor took pictures and helped them. I guess they think they are too big to color chicken eggs. LOL I then took a few hours to myself. I got to get a pedicure. I had not had one since I broke my ankle. It was so relaxing. They now have a massage chair that almost put me to sleep. I did not want to leave.
Saturday, we slept in again and then got ready for the Chicken Egg Hunt at church. The boys did a puppet presentation and then we had a member of the church who does balloons, do a presentations of the death and resurrection of Jesus. You can see in the slide show some of the balloons that he did. He made all of the decorations with ballooons. Great presentations. We then went to find chicken eggs. Miss Talicee found a basket full as you can see. One little boy tried to take some from her, but she has 3 brothers, and this did not happen. LOL After the hunt, we had a relaxing afternoon as a family. These times are far and few between. Taylor is still not feeling well.
Sunday, Easter Sunday, Christ's resurrection. We had a nice breakfast with quiche and empty tombs. Then we attended church. The student drama team did a great job on their presentation today. Dean did his balloon presentation again and it brought chills once again. After church we came home and worked on lunch. Randy's parents came down for lunch. My parents are in Florida or they would be here. We had a nice lunch. Tyler's girlfriend, Lindsay, came down and had dessert with us. After some relaxing visitation, Randy's parents took the 3 boys back with them. They do this every spring break. Miss Talicee has played with her Easter basket stuff and watched Veggie Tales since they have been gone. She has eaten candy all day. Probably will be a long night. She did get a little fur chick in a egg today. She has played with this chick all day. She is so loving. She has feed it, bathed it and loved it. I love this trait in her. Since we are on spring break this week, it will be a relaxing week. Then we gear up again for ballgames.
Hope you enjoy the slide show. There are a lot of pictures on there this time.
