Miss Talicee and I have had a great 2 days together. The boys are at their grandparents until tomorrow. Tyler has baseball practice tomorrow, so they need to come home. Randy is working during the day, so Miss Talicee have been enjoying our girl time.

Monday we played with the tea set, watched Ki Lan and just did girly things. We both had great afternoon naps. Makes for a much better day. Then Randy, Talicee and I went and got a quick bite to eat.

Today we have played, played and played some more. We did a few chores together. She really likes to help around the house. She has painted just about every picture in her new paint book. Tonight we need to go get some birthday gifts for family members. She has already asked when we are going shopping. She loves to shop. We sure have enjoyed our time together.

Update on Miss Talicee

I haven't updated everyone on her progess lately. She is now 2 and 5 months old. She has grown about an inch. We measured her the other day, we have a growing chart on our bathroom door, and it shows that she has grown. She has gained some weight, but not much. I got out her summer clothes this week and she can still wear things that she had when we first got her. We are in 18/24 months. 24 months are big, but some things work. I do have a few things in 12 months that she is still wearing.

She can count to 10 and knows most of the primary colors. She can say her alphabet, but misses the mnop. This seems to be the hard part for everyone. She can carry on a conversation with you like an adult. Her words are very clear and there is nothing she can not say. She is growing so fast. Just over a year ago, she could not walk. She was just getting the crawling down. Now we run to everywhere we go. She has a mouth full of teeth. She is a grazer. She eats all day long. As much as she eats, she should weigh 50 pounds. But no, she is just a little as before. Wished I could do that.

Miss Talicee is so sweet. She plays so gentle with her baby dolls. So loving and caring. She can do a puzzle in a matter of seconds. She loves to write. She always has something in her hands. This must be something that little girls do. I never noticed it with the boys. She will tell you she loves you all day long. She loves to hug and kiss you. She will tell you that Jesus loves you and me. I just wished that time would slow down and not let her grow up so fast. It's like I blink and something else has changed.

We all are in love with this little angel. We never knew how much joy and happiness a little girl could add to an all boy family. She loves her brothers. She knows all about them and what they do each day. She is their second mother. We thank God everyday for all 4 of these wonderful children.
