MOTHER'S DAY 2008

I had a great Mother's Day. We had a very busy weekend. But you can figure that, with all of the posts of us going and doing things with the boys. We had a ballgame on Friday night, imagine that. Randy's parents came up for that. Then they stayed and went to Trevor's game on Saturday. They then took Trevor out for his birthday. He had a great time.

Sunday, Mother's Day, was great. Randy made breakfast, of course he makes breakfast every Sunday. We took pictures before we left for church. Went to church and then to lunch. For years, we have been going to a place call Kabuki's. This is one of my favorite places to eat. After lunch we had a little time to get in a short nap. Then off again we go.

During the day, I was thinking about Li Li's birthmother. I wished her a Happy Mother's Day and said a prayer for her. I hope she has the comfort knowing that her little girl is in a family that loves her more than any thing in the world. Thank you for the gift of a life time.

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. This is one of my favorite holidays.

Happy Belated Mother's Day. Your comment about Li Li's mother is shared. Maybe those of us who have adopted little girls from China will always wonder about their birth moms. What they are doing and if they think about the daughters they did not get to raise. I would love to let the birth mother of my daughter know she is safe and happy. You have a busy life!!
