HOMECOMING 2008

We have been really busy this week once again. Monday Trevor had a ballgame. This was the last one of 4 from last week. It was a late night. Why would a county schedule a ballgame at 7:30 on a school night for 9 and 10 year olds? Go figure. Tuesday was our busy day. Trevor did have a night off on practicing since they won. They have only lost one game, so they will probably go to the playoffs. Wednesday we starting training for a new program at our church. I am looking forward to this.

Guess what Thursday was. FOOTBALL AGAIN. The JV team had to travel. It rained like I have never seen it rained. I was beginning to think it was going to flood. The JV's lost but it was in overtime. Taylor's team is really good this year. He is still on second string, but he is working.

FRIDAY was Homecoming. The boys had a pep rally at school. Taylor was on tv during the pep rally. Of course he had his mouth wide open. It had rained most of the day on Friday, so we keep wondering if there was going to be a ballgame. God was good to us. The rains stopped while the game was going on.

Now time for a bragging mom. Tyler had a great game. He got a touchdown in the first quarter. The game went back and forth. Finally, Tyler got the ball during kick off. Everyone thought he was going to down the ball. When I looked up, he was 1/2 way down the field. He caught the everyone off guard. No one even touched him as he walked right into the end zone. We did win the game. We beat a team that had not been beaten.

I do have one complaint. When a teammate is arrested for something illegal, should there be consequences for the action. Well, I guess it depends on where you live. The quarterback of the other team had gotten into big trouble a couple of weeks ago with the law. Instead of the coach on the team, making him quit, he allowed him to play. Now is this setting a good example for his peers? I am very upset with this and I will be writing the proper authorities that deal with high schools. I am so glad we beat this team. They deserve to loose all of their forth coming games.

Trevor had a game today. He also won again. We are so proud of him.

Tyler and Taylor went to homecoming tonight. I did not get to see them with their dates. As you can tell, the pictures show how handsome they were. I can't wait to hear how everything went. I hope they had a great time.

Miss Talicee and I went to my cousins wedding. It was so pretty even though it rained. It was an outside wedding. The food was great. Their cake was an ice cream cake. This was a neat idea. Miss Talicee enjoyed dancing to the music. Her and Aunt Mo danced and danced. Their wedding was a bed and breakfast. Beautiful Beautiful.

We are still a boring family just busy. Miss Talicee's birthday is this week, so we will have more drama to share during the week. LOL

Your boys dressed up for homecoming? Gee I just got stuck with making a homecoming mum for that night, which is next Friday. They all look so good dressed up!

Happy Birthday Talicee! It's so much fun being 3! That is from Lilly!
