CHRISTMAS AT THE LANDES'
On Monday we left for Randy's parents to celebrate Christmas with them. We needed to get there early because his parents had a surprise for the kids for the day. The kids had made their list of what they wanted. They got what they asked for. Miss Talicee loved the horse that goes with her doll that Grandmaw got her. All gifts were welcomed.

After opening all of their presents, the kids were presented with their stockings. Inside the stockings was a tin with a note in it. It read:

"This Christmas you will find your stocking dry...
without toys, We hope you don't cry.

Go jump and splash and have some fun...
but remember you should not run.

For Monday to the water park you will go...
Kemee and Granddaddy say "ho,ho,ho."

They all got to spend the day at the indoor water park. They left about 10:30 and headed to McDonald's for lunch and then to the park. We finally saw everyone again at about 6:30 that night. All of them slept well that night. Even Randy slept will. He got to play with them too. What a great treat since we have had snow for a month.

On Tuesday, Randy's mom wanted to have a dinner party for some of their friends and family. Since we are always in a rush when we visit, it was a nice time to catch up with them. We had 29 guest for the evening. Dinner was wonderful. The fellowship was great. It was so nice to just sit down and talk and get to know our friends again. All of the kids had a great time playing. My mother-in-law does a great job at entertaining.

I got to spend some time shopping. A little retail therapy does a girl good.
