CHRISTMAS AT THE SHAVER'S
On Friday Trevor, Talicee and I headed to my parents for Christmas. Tyler and Randy had to work Friday night so they came with Taylor on Saturday morning.
We started our day with our annual breakfast. Then it was present time. Buying for the older kids sure is harder than buying for the younger ones. All the kids loved what they got. Once Talicee opened her washer and dryer and wardrobe, she was off to play. We ate snacks all day. Then about 7:00 we grilled steaks. Mom and Dad's treat for us. Everything was so good.
I do have to say that the best part was everyone being around and enjoying each other. At times we were laughing so hard we were crying. I cherish these moments. 2011 has been one of the toughest years and being with family during the holidays really took the edge off of things.
