FIRST UPWARDS GAME OF THE YEAR

Today we started our Upwards year of basketball at our church. Trevor and Talicee and participating. This is Trevor's last year. He will be moving on to school sports. The kids had a wonderful time. Talicee cheered her heart out. She loves to dance and cheer. She is the youngest on her team, but you would never know it. She hangs right in there with the other girls.

Trevor is one of the oldest on his team. He was paired with a player that had to be at least 5'8 or 5'9. He hung in there and played hard. By the time he was done with the game, he was sweating and red faced. Good job Trevor. His team won.

Talicee also go a special award this week. She was on the honor roll for the 1st 9 weeks of school. She is on track to get it again this 9 weeks. Trevor is doing great in school. He had his sol in History this week. Now he can move on to another subject. Taylor has been on the all A honor roll since school started. Now why could he not have done this when it really counted. Oh well, we are filling out scholarship after scholarship. He has applied for College, but we will not know anything until March. Sure hope he gets some scholarships. With 2 in school and no money, we really need it.

2012 has started off great. You know that feeling that you get when you have succeeded at something and now you get to see it grow. While that is the way I am feeling. Randy and I have accomplished something and are working our way to complete it to the end. Just keep praying for us. The light is getting brighter at the end of the tunnel and I have faith it is not another train.
