Since we did not have any power, our friends invited us over for dinner and then we headed to the church on the mountain to watch the fireworks. The kids love to spend time up on the mountain. It was so nice just to relax. After all is said and done, we were out of power for 9 days. Only lost what was in the refrig. freezer. Glad I am not babysitting the big freezers any more. Sad note is that my power bill was more than it was in June with power for 30 days. Go figure. Guess that the power company started recouping their money early.
