HUBEI, CHINA (WHO BAY)
I have been doing some research on the province that we will be traveling to to adopt our daughter. This is a very interesting province.
Hubei is located in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and the Dongting Lake. Hubei means north of the lake. This is in the southern part of China. The capital of Hubei is Wuhan. Hubei is known to be one of the originating places of Chinese people. Many ethnic groups live in Hubei.
Hubei is subtropical. It is very humid and dry during the summer. This is the time we will be traveling there. Hubei does have 4 seasons just like the US.
One of the major tourist attractions is East lake. This is the biggest lake within the city. The yellow crane Tower is a famous tower that is located on Snake Hill.
Hubei is the home to The Three Gorge Dam Project. This is the largest water conservation project in the world.
Shenning Peak is the highest peak in Hubei. many lakes are found in Hubei. Thus giving Hubei the nickname "Province of Lakes."
Hubei produces many agricultural products such as tea, wheat, rice and power generation. Giving Hubei the nickname "Land of Fish and Rice."
Mandarin dialect is the spoken language. Hubei people are given the nickname"Nine Headed Birds." This means a very aggressive creature hard to kill." Many nicknames are used here. So what do we go by?
Hubei is a major player in the transportation industry. Railways like Beijing to Guangzhou, Shinghai to Wuhan and Beijing to Kowloon. major airports are found in Beijing and Shanghai. Maybe we will get to experience the railways while traveling.
Famous attractions in Hubei draw many tourist.

We are very anxious to learn more about Talicee birth place. We hope we get to visit many of the tourist spots.
