JUST BEING THE TOURIST IN HAWAII

After our plane ride we spent the rest of the day just sightseeing. When people are in our state sightseeing, we usually know that they are sightseers. Well, Randy and I were these people. We just starting driving with our map. We had seen some falls while in the air and wanted to see them in person. The first falls,Wailua Falls, was a small falls. It was nice. The area around it was very interesting.

We then made our way to the Opaeka Falls. This is the one that I took pictures of when we were in the air. Very nice falls. On the other side of the falls is a river that is used to do boat tours. We traveled on the Lydgate beach. What a beautiful beach. The tide was out so there was a huge beach. We also saw a Hawaiian Funeral on the beach. Today the waves were managable. But days later, which you will see, they were not. After being attacked by this red headed bird, we headed back to Poi Pu Bay. It was getting dark and sightseeing was ending quickly. We ate at the Poi Pu Broiler. It was recommended by our snorkeling guide. It was very good. As you can see, we are getting tired. What a day. More pictures coming.
