Today we had Tyler and Taylor's Sports Awards Ceremony. It was a sad day for me. But you will be proud of me. I only cried a little bit.

Taylor got his award for playing JV Football. He is just a freshman so he has 3 more years of football. After today, he has some big shoes to fill. I know he can do it.

Tyler also got his award for playing football. He also got 2 awards for All District and 2 awards for All Region. The big surprise was when he got the Most Outstanding Back. He had no idea he was getting this and neither did we. We are so proud of them. Then the meals mom presented the Seniors a gift bag with their numbers on it. Inside the bags were pictures of Parent's Night in frames for them to take to college and the same picture in a beautiful frame for me. Yes, I guess I will include Randy too. Well, yes this made me cry. It is just so hard to believe that his Senior year is 1/2 way over.

We are still looking at colleges and hope to make a decision soon after the new year. If I had it my way, he would never leave home. But he wants to go away somewhere from this area. This is his decision and I want him to be happy with it. Ok, yes I am just baughing now. I don't know if I will get through it or not.

Enough of that, I have to pull it together. We are so proud of our older boys. Tyler has excelled at football. This is a passion of his. Taylor loved his first time ever playing football. He will start workouts for next year this Wednesday. I never knew he would like a sport where people hit you all of the time. His personality is just not like this. I guess all kids surprise you.

As the months wear on, Tyler will be working more on college now. We have a lot to do between now and June 12th at 7:00. Ok, crying again. Oh will it get better. Enjoy the pics of this proud mama's boys.

I think it is fine for a mom to cry over anything. It is our right! Be proud, be sad, be joyful, be worried! Its a mother's right when she has such great kids.
